His worldwide experiences of working with thousands of engineers over a period of nearly 30 years combined with his hands-on knowledge of the challenges engineers face provide him with a unique perspective. 

His careers have included Chief Engineer Officer on worldwide cargo ships, Risk Engineering Specialist in Canada and Principal Risk Engineer for a chemical corporation in Texas, USA. 

His travels have taken him to 75 countries, from the highlands of Papua New Guinea, to the shores of Ethiopia, to the Pacific Islands. 

For nearly two years he was a volunteer engineer officer on a scientific ship travelling from Chile to Australia and on a square rig sailing ship travelling from Australia to the Caribbean. Whether speaking to thousands or 20 Dave brings his unique personality and perspective blended with his diverse experiences.
